In the beginning, there was the creation of the universe, the creation of the earth, skies, and seas. Then it was followed by the creation of life. Life in the form of trees, fruit-bearing trees, underwater plants, root crops. This flourishment allowed the creation of animals, from the tiniest creature to the largest one. Many different beings such as Lions, snakes, ants, in the seas we have the whales, dolphins, up in the sky we gaze upon eagles, falcons and many more. As God’s final masterpiece, which was created from his own image, man. Intellectual beings capable of reforming the world according to its likeness, acting like gods.
Then we look back in history, from the cycle wherein the turning point of the creation of life began. One of this world’s very first occupant, the ones that allowed the sustainment of other beings, the plants. These beings provided as nourishment to animals, fish, birds and even us men.  From its first sprout to its first harvest, plants have always been of many uses to this world. Even when they decompose they even serve as fertilizers as precursors to the next plants which may be grown their spot.
The growth and proliferation of plants are mostly contributed by the process known to man as Photosynthesis. This process takes place in their leaves. Photosynthesis is the machinery that is used mostly by plants to change light energy mainly from the sun, into chemical energy.
The system makes use of the abundance of carbon dioxide in the air, added with water, stimulated by the light energy, which then produces carbohydrates in the form of sugar and another by the product that is oxygen. All of this process takes place in the plants’ leaves. The chemical energy that it produces is used for the plant’s growth. This also allows the bearing of fruits and all its produce. Humans eat plants in the form of fruits and vegetables. It is an important part of our diet to maintain our body’s healthy well-being. Herbivores or plant-eating animals also make use of the grass and leaves to sustain their body. Oxygen in the air, which is what we humans and animals inhale to allow us to live is one of its most important details. We humans cannot survive the next few minutes without oxygen.
Our body needed oxygen to remain healthy and alive. Other animals as well utilize oxygen to live, even the fish underwater. Oxygen is also used in the combustion of fire, a fire which produces heat gives way to a lot of this world’s furthered innovations.
Photosynthesis is much important that it ushered in the birth of different organisms on the planet. The almost unlimited supply of light energy from the sun added with the abundance in water makes the process easy for plants to resupply our world with food to eat, air to breath, shelter from the rain, shade from sunlight and even serve as clothes for our body.
