Work has become a necessity nowadays. To earn money, one must have a stable job or maybe a business to earn. In the family, it is the parents or mainly the fathers’ responsibility to work and earn a living for the family. Because work requires a response, the adult being must also be responsible enough to take the tasks of working.
Children play and have fun in most of their days. Younger kids do not even know the concept of work until they reach the right age. But as a part of this society, sooner or later children will mature and start to work for money.
Children in school are given responsibilities for them to follow. This, in turn, rains the child to fulfill his part in school. Parents or guardians can give small talks and advice to their child to open up their mind to the reality they are into. Teaching them to be patient and diligent in what they are doing. Making them realize why it is important to work even at their age can slowly have a deep impact on them. Theses advice can guide them into better workers or employees.
Parents should also serve as a good role model for their child. Children look up to the parents in their work practices and maybe bring it up when they grow up. Allowing children to work and also have fun is also a good way. To motivate work, one should not only use the concept of reward and punishment but also the essence of having fun while at work. This way children will learn to love their work and be stress-free with what they are about to do. With work, children will also experience defeat and success. Going through different hardships early in their lives will make them appreciate the real value of hard work and patience. Also teaching them the value of working gives the child a path on what his career will be when he grows up.
