COVID-19, the historical pandemic, has been rocking the whole world for months now. What can be the message of this unexplained and fortuitous crisis? Perhaps everybody should think and wonder about this. It could mean a lot to some and it could mean nothing to many. It means extremely important when we worry not only for ourselves, our loved ones, our country, but for the whole world. When even doctors cannot explain well and give cure to the victims of pandemic, we have nowhere to approach but HIM. Not undermining the capabilities of our experts, but above all, it is only through His mercy that this historical pandemic can be totally melted.
Meanwhile, while we are busy attending to this crisis, let us not also forget the important things that we usually do when we don’t have this pandemic yet, “Education” is just one.
Truly, there should be education and learning no matter what our circumstances may be. Let us not allow COVID-19 to hinder our kids’ learning process. Let us make them learn ahead. Make them do the normal routine, so that when everything becomes normal, they are not behind among others. Let us hope and pray that soon, we will have the peace back because COVID-19 is gone. “God is Good, all the Time, and All the Time, God is Good”.
Can online teaching equate with face-to-face system? Yes, of course, it definitely can. There are different factors in learning. The system is just one of the few things. The educator and his/her objectives matter the most. As parents, we just need to double check who our kids’ tutor will be. The background and credibility are huge factors to be considered. This is because, someone who is credible and with a good foundation of her objective, then everything will follow. She will find ways to make her student learn, regardless of the case may be.
Yes, online teaching will be as effective as face-to-face when we are serious with our goals and objectives. We have done this before, we are doing it now, and we will do help kids wherever they are.
