As life keeps going, the path of ours becomes strange and unknown. At this point, we need to support every child to obtain his or her fullest potential to become a become a better person for a better world. The most critical stage of childhood is the transition period from preschool to primary level.
Furthermore, the transition or process of adjusting from one level to another is a critical stage for our preschoolers. That is why we adults suggest that the transitional should be done ahead in a gradual manner. Also, focusing on children’s individual strength and weaknesses should be determined. This will help parents and educators to address the areas of learning that need to be addressed. We should also keep our eye on the behavior of the child as we all know behavior affects the learning process of every child. With the help of the members of the family and teachers we can support our child to love and appreciate his or herself. We need to look at our children as they get older while reaching their highest potential. Let us monitor if they can accomplish the assigned task. In here, we can assess his or challenges in different areas.
However, the transitioning period from preschool to primary level is an exciting but a challenging milestone in children’s lives. We cannot disregard this significant event because this aspect will bring them to the next level of education. Let’s prepare them to understand the importance of this transition.  It requires the support of the family first and foremost. Our teachers and community organizations also play important roles in developing their relationship with one another. For me, planning matters. We need to plan ahead for our children for them not to be stressed at their early age. Giving them task one at a time will be helpful. Introducing them the next task ahead in a gradual manner is an excellent move.
Also, having an open communication and sharing resources or ideas are one of the biggest factors to ensure that the transition period from preschool to primary level will be successful. Sharing these ways with other parents and guardians will surely be beneficial. Â Providing proper guidelines that our children should follow will instill good discipline among our kids. Practical advice so that they will become familiar in the world they live in is essential. Asking children what they are most curious about would give them a chance to express themselves. Ages like three to five need to learn how to participate in short story telling. They need to learn how to answer wh-questions related or not to their personal experiences.
