God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. A famous line which eventually was titled to a Christian song by Don Moen encompassing the greatness and goodness of our God. The bible quote from Luke chapter 18 verse 19, Jesus declared “No one is good, except God alone”. From this we can surmise that it is a general fact, a truth that cannot be argued, God is good. His intentions are always good, everything He does and will do is always righteous and Holy.
As children of God, we humans have gone a long way from history witnessing the everyday miracle God has been doing. Genesis chapter 50 verse 20, stating that everything God has done is very good. This universe that he created, the galaxy, the stars and sun all of which are from His creation. The earth, the skies, ocean, animals, insects and most especially us humans who take His own image are the very real and true evidence of the goodness in Him or can God do anything that is bad or evil, as stated in James chapter 1 verse 13, “God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone”. What God has done in the past was always good, what He did now is good, and what He will and about to do will always be good.
The Holy Bible where we Christians base our faith from is also the true testament of His goodness. Although humans have spawned different religions and church, still we are worshipping one true God.
Human life can be met with obstacles, it can be hard, but through faith in God, life is still good. Jesus Christ who was sent by God then came and served as our savior experienced the hardship of human life. He was even in pain before his death, and still despite that, we see the blessing, there is suffering, and that is life after death. Individual beings have their own sufferings, may it be big or small, from losing loved ones, or even from spilling water in the floor. In every aspect of our lives, no matter what state we are in, we are always met with problems.
There is tension in the lowest class of our social community and even the very rich one, they also have their own difficulties. Now that God is in even as ever before, it is only through prayer and hearing the mass can we able to communicate with our God. In prayer, we talk to God to find inner peace or even ask for forgiveness. In prayer, we are able to ask from Him the desires of our heart or maybe even just to talk to someone. In Matthew chapter seven verse seven which says “ask and you shall receive”, here find answers to all our desires. It is in this way we are able to see the goodness of God.
